Protection of Workers’ Rights
Sakthi Paper Mart management makes every effort to protect the rights of its workforce members. We enforce a policy of treating all employees equally, respecting their rights of association and collective bargaining, and discrimination or harassment of any kind is not tolerated.

Each employee’s hiring, salary, benefits, promotion, demotion, discharge and retirement are based solely on the individual’s qualifications and performance. Concerns, complaints or personal opinions are welcome to be submitted to the management team and are responded to in due time. Furthermore, persons under the age of 18 or without the legal right to work are not to be hired by any company in our company. We also respect our female employees’ working rights during pregnancy and maternity and provide them with extra protection as appropriate.

Health and Safety Management

To improve the working environment and to reduce occupational accidents, Sakthi Paper Mart adheres to international standards of occupational health and safety as well as environmental management. All new employees are given general safety and health training before beginning their jobs and must also receive specific safety and health training prior to using particular types of machines or equipment or performing certain tasks.

Sakthi Paper Mart regards environmental protection as a fundamental obligation, and we have accordingly integrated appropriate practices into our operations. In each step of the manufacturing process, we strive to minimize the impact on the environment by setting up strict regulations on the administration of waste disposal, air emissions and water management.
